Let's say you need to deploy a tracker on a vehicle. You've already figured out placement by examining underneath another vehicle of the same make/model and finding a spot for the device.

What is your tactic to deploy the tracker? What cover story will you use if confronted or someone notices you? Are you doing it in the middle of the day or early hours?

Some days my little dog will go missing, and I will search for him with a dog lead in my hand. He is a Jack Russel and easily fits underneath vehicles, sometimes I take a peek under while looking for him. Of course, plenty of photos of the dog are on hand and I can even carry a dog toy as another prop.

I would try to have it placed before ~5AM personally.
